The Life of a Male Gladiator
Today I applied to be a gladiator. I wanted to be popular among the Roman citizens. I felt I was athletic enough to duel with tough opponents.

Today is my first day of gladiator training and I am very scared if I will be made a complete fool.

Today is my first fight against another rookie. We play in a small arena, and after a long fight, I finally prevail.

Today, a month after my 1st fight, I duel with a seasoned veteran in the newly built Coliseum. I win even with a broken leg, bringing home a large sum of money. I become a celebrated figure in Roman society.

After one day of training I am about to give up because I am about to fall apart from all the hard work.
Right now I am sad that all gladiator fights are
over because I am not famous anymore but I am kind of glad that I have a more less chance of death now that I am not a gladiator anymore.
