Famous Gladiators and Gladiator Fights

Some of the most famous gladiators were Carpophorus, Flamma, Crixus, and Spartacus.

Carpophorus was famous for fighting animals and has killed about 20 animals a day. Flamma was famous for fighting many battles and refused an offered 4 rudis. A rudis is the chance to be free from being a gladiator and to live normally among Roman citizans. Crixus was most famous for escaping from being a gladiator and leading a slave rebellion. Spartacus was famous for persuading many gladiators to join the slave rebellion with him.

Some of the most famous gladiator battles were when one was a one on one animal fight where an elephant blinded a rhino. Another is when Carpophorus killed 20 animals in 1 battle. There is also one were a man is ripped apart by dogs after jeering a loved gladiator.
